In Pictures – The Teachers Network Conference

IMG-20170403-WA0079Beyond gratitiude, The Teachers’ Network Conference themed ‘THE TECHNOLOGY DRIVEN CLASSROOM’ was a beautiful experience. We know now what is mostly true. That Nigerian educators are eager, hungry and passionate about learning and leveraging on technology for best practices.

We know that teachers do not want to take the back seat among professionals. That when it comes to higher remuneration and most importantly the use of technology in teaching, we are willing to rewrite their professsions towards excellence, value and results.

We know that building a network or community of teachers who collaborate to solve teacher problems or education problems is a ‘must-do’. We know the problems. We live the problems. We also know the solutions because we are implementers. We also know that there are solutions found in technology and we are poised to not only check it out but use them effectively. This is the reason why technology became the focus for our very first conference.

Know that when teachers gather at conferences like this to learn, exchange ideas, network to find results; it is a force to be reckoned with. It is so not because the problems we face are strikenly different from those in other sectors of the country but because we hold the KEY to ameliorating them for ALL sectors. That is why we must do it; and attempt to do it in the best of our collective capacity.

To all participants, thank you for coming. I hope you find yourselves in here. Keep pushing. You are limitless. Our students need us. They need us to be ready for them. To speak their language as digital natives. To help ALL kinds of learning styles and learners to live poductive lives because we knew exactly how to teach them as ALL CHILDREN CAN LEARN.

For us at THE LEARNING CRAFT, we want to say a big thank you to our sponsors. They believed in us. You will find their logos and brands at the end of the gallery. A very special thanks goes to our headline sponsors – ALMOND ETHICALS – distribitors of the Wellman/Wellwoman range of multivitamins. They continue to support us.

If you are a teacher (classroom teachers only please), do join our Facebook community. Click THE TEACHERS NETWORK to join. It’s simple. However, since we want core classroom teachers only, we would prune your profile to affirm this. If your profile tells little or nothing about you being a teacher, it is time to change that. If you are proud and professional, you should let the world know. You stand to benefit from this.

Please click on sponsor pictures to reach their services. You will find so much information. They are PHENOMENAL and world class products.
